Art Show & Film Festival - 2019 Edition!
Our Annual Art Show & Film Festival returns Saturday, March 9, at Stuart Steiner Theatre at Genesee Community College. The event features an art show with work created by individuals served by Arc of Genesee Orleans and a presentation of short films from the New York City based Sprout films collection. Sprout films, documentaries and music videos are written, produced and/or feature individuals with disabilities.
The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Doors open at 12:30 p.m for the art show and the film festival starts at 1:00 p.m. "This year, comedy is theme of our film selection," Arc Director of Development Shelley Falitico said. "We will also have a live opening comedy act featuring Anthony Oliver, aka Laughing Jack!!" she added.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART! Special thanks to our official media sponsor, WBTA Radio.
